Japanese Folklore:The Two Frogs

There was one time in the country of Japan there were two frogs, one of them at home, in a ditch near the city of Osaka, on the beach, while others live in a small clear stream runs through the city of Kyoto. At such a distance that separates them had never heard of one another, but, interestingly, the idea came immediately to mind, but I’d like to see some of the world, and the frog who lived at Kyoto wanted to visit Osaka, and the frog who lived in Osaka wanted to go to Kyoto, where the great Mikado had his palace.

Long ago lived Sweet old. Do not have children, but they want a lot, went to the temple to pray: “Please, please let us have a child, no matter how small.” Finally, son born to them. But the child was very small – no more than the fingers of an adult.
